How we developed Mango to Go

The Mango to Go concept started in 1997 when Brian designed and built a machine to process commercial quantities of fresh, mango cheeks into a 100% pure mango “ice-cream” style treat. Everyone who tasted new Mango to Go loved it and, encouraged by the overwhelming positive feedback, Brian teamed up with a local Mareeba mango farmer to manufacture ‘Mango to Go’ on the farm. Processing Mango to Go on the farm, rather than transporting the mangos to another site, ensures the superb authentic farm fresh flavour of an Australian grown mango, picked at its best, is captured in each Mango to Go.

Since then, Mango to Go has regularly been sold at the farm's road-side stall in Cairns, gaining popularity amongst both locals and visitors.

In 2010 Mango to Go will be launched nationally so all Australians can enjoy the
refreshing, superb flavour and nutritional benefits of 100% pure Australian
grown mango – all year round and in a convenient ‘no-mess’ tub!
